Encuentro Internacional de Músicas Tradicionales del Pirineo (EMTP) — Graus

2026 dates NOT confirmed

The only source I found for 2026 dates shows vaguely "end of August" and the dates "26 AUG 2026 Miércoles hasta el 30 AUG 2026" but without a specific event description. The organiser sites (encuentrodemusicastradicionales.webnode.es, gaiteros-de-graus.webnode.es) only show archived 2016–2017 content. The only solidly confirmed fact is that the 10th edition ran 27–31 Aug 2025; no 11th-edition/2026 announcement has surfaced anywhere yet, including defiestaenfiesta.es. Treat 26–30 Aug 2026 as an extrapolation from the 2025 pattern, not a fact — watch Gaiteros de Graus' Facebook (culturade.graus) for an official announcement.

Where: Graus, Huesca — Plaza Mayor / Espacio Pirineos. What (per the 2025 edition): European folk groups, free outdoor concerts, workshops on Pyrenean instruments (gaita de boto, chiflo, salterio, dulzaina), baile folk, organised by Gaiteros de Graus.

Festa Major de La Seu d'Urgell (incl. Ball Cerdà)

Confirmed — 28 Aug – 1 Sep 2026, ~90 activities across 11 venues (fmlaseu.cat, corroborated by RàdioSeu's day-by-day agenda). Note: the original brainstorm's "closing acts spill to 2 Sep" detail is not confirmed by any source found — drop it unless reconfirmed.

Ball Cerdà — Plaça Patalín, Sun 30 Aug 2026, ~11:00–14:30. Element of National Festive Heritage; 100+ couples in traditional dress, cobla. Confirmed via caminapirineus.com.

Pregó (opening address): Sat 29 Aug 2026, 20:00, Plaça dels Oms.

Era Hèsta de Vielha (Val d'Aran)

2026 dates soft/unconfirmed

The claimed 5–11 Sep 2026 window matches the same calendar week used in 2014 and 2024 (Vielha's festa major appears to fall consistently in that week), but no live-loaded official page confirms 2026 specifically — visitvaldaran.com only showed archived 2024 content, and festivalesdeespana.com blocked automated fetch (403). Treat as provisional; verify via visitvaldaran.com or +34 973 64 01 10 nearer the date. Don't confuse with "Hèsta d'Aran" — a separate, unrelated June event.

Where: Vielha, Val d'Aran — historic centre. What: Aranese summer festa — esquerrana dances, evening concerts, artisan market, olla aranesa popular meals.

Festa Major de Durro (Vall de Boí)

Confirmed for overall dates — 8–13 Sep 2026 (surtdecasa.cat 2026 banner). vallboi.cat blocked automated fetch (403) — not independently reconfirmed there.

Ball pla with Ribatònics: a recurring tradition on the closing day, historically ~18:00 — but the specific "13 Sep 2026 with Ribatònics" detail is inferred from past years' pattern, not a fetched 2026 program. Confirm nearer the date via vallboi.cat or the Ajuntament de la Vall de Boí's Instagram.
